2. Our collection of your data

When you subscribe to the Stark Raving Sane Newsletter, we collect 1) your email address, 2) the IP address from which the subscription was made, and 3) a record of your consent to be subscribed, and store these in our mailing list database.

In addition, our website hosting provider collects certain personal information for their log files when you visit the website, including your IP address and your location. These data are only used for statistical and technical purposes, and they will not be used to identify you as an individual.

3. Third party partners

We use YMLP.com, a company domiciled in the EU, to handle the Newsletter. Please see YMLP’s page on GDPR compliance for more information on their responsibilities as a data processor and on how they handle your data. 

Our website is hosted at Simply.com, a hosting company domiciled in the EU. Please see their compliance page for more information.

With the exception of these partners and for these specific purposes, we will not give your data to any other third party.

4. How long we keep your data

We only keep your email and IP address for as long as you are subscribed to the Newsletter. If at any point you decide to unsubscribe from the Newsletter, your email and IP address will automatically be deleted from both our and YMLP’s records.

Our hosting provider stores your information for 14 days as part of their automatic logging process.

5. Your rights

As a company operating in the European Union, we are covered by the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR gives you the following rights:
